About Mitch Schwartz

My name is Mitchell Schwartz. My friends and clients call me Mitch. I am a Broker-Salesperson of Keller Williams Realty-The Marketplace and licensed since 1987. I am veteran at helping people buy and sell properties in the Greater Las Vegas Area. This includes Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and all of the wonderful Master Planned Communities throughout our great city.

AS I update this page I wonder if I should resort to the typical boasting that real estate agents do about themselves and their business. Do I brag that I sold over 150 properties in 2009 do I mention that I have been licensed to sell real estate in Nevada for almost 23 years? I think not. This page is about me personally. If you need to know more about my business and how I work, we can save that for another conversation.

Let me start out by letting you know that I try to keep my life simple. I have one son  who attends Clark County College. My son is a good guy with a heart of gold and he loves to make his old man laugh, which I do often. My step son is an active-duty Marine who recently returned from Iraq and is now relocating to New Orleans of all places. He and his lovely wife have just provided his mother and I with another beautiful grand baby girl. His first daughter is now eight or as she tells me, “Pop Pop I am not seven anymore!” I just love being “Pop-Pop”!

The love of my life and my best friend, Lisa I like to travel and often spend time doing absolutely nothing but hanging around the house. Our favorite trip of recent times is a cruise we took with our entire family in 2007. 15 family members on a cruise ship and no drama, imagine that! There are a handful of people I call close friends, all of which are important to me and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. I am a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and have been since I was about 12. I have a pair of season tickets and usually get to at least two games per season.

Camping and fishing are passions of mine. I especially love to go ice fishing. What most people find strange is that I don’t always need to actually catch fish to enjoy myself. Sometimes it’s nice to just be outside with my fishing pole in hand and my phone far away. I laugh at myself a lot and enjoy a good joke or story. I don't wear Armani suits or drive a Beamer. I will most likely show up to meet you while wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I am not here to impress anyone with flash or bling. I just try to do a quality job. I am a two time cancer survivor and have learned that life is far too short to allow life’s trials to get in the way of the stuff that’s really important. I work hard and play hard and encourage my clients to do the same. I am basically a real guy, selling real estate. Let my team and I help you.

(if you're wondering what kind of fish that is, call me)
